Edited from 1851 to 1854, this periodical is even less known than l'Illustration horticole. Charles Lemaire was again the editor, and the “journal” was published under the auspices of the Royal Society of Agriculture and Botanics of Ghent.

The layout was used later in Illustration horticole: color plates (as Curtis et Edwards did) and “miscellanies” dealing with various subjects. All the files below contain colour plates that come mostly from Curtis's Botanical Magazine.
