Pierre Joseph Redouté, the most famous botanical illustrator, started the publication of Les Liliacées in 1802. This is a collection of 486 plates in 8 volumes. We propose 26 plates related to succulents. Even though pineapple (opposite) is not a succulent, the execution is so perfect that we would enjoy eating it.
