This book, more than 280 pages long is dated 1993. It presents conophytums from various points of views: taxonomy, morphology, geographic distribution… and a good dose of humour pimented with some french words. The most important parts are the 170 pages devoted to individual species with detailed descriptions, distribution data, cultivation advice and marvelous pictures. The other 90 pages are devoted to unanswered questions, a detailed taxonomic index, accepted names and synonymy, chromosome count, bibliography (all dated before 1993).
