This is a periodical edited since 1845. Charles Antoine Lemaire was involved as in jardin fleuriste and then Illustration horticole. Lemaire has been invited in Ghent by Louis Benoit van Houtte who was at the origin of this periodical (see right).
The periodical essentially shows colour plates, some from or having fed the Curtis's Botanical Magazine.
