This book has been published in 2004. It is 200 pages long and written in Spanish. It is a concise presentation of the Paraguayan cacti with many illustrations. After an exhaustive introduction (55 pages), the cacti are presentend and commented in alphabetic order. A rough distribution map accompanies each genus. Technical details (glossary of botanical terms, bibliographic references, synonyms…) are in specific appendices at the end of the book. The authors are breiefly introduced on the inner back cover.
