These are most of the small plants blooming here today. No plant that is rare, unless you include Sclerocactus/Echinocactus uncinatus. Most are Mammillarias, but there is also Delosperma herbeum on the right, 4 Parodias, 2 Echinofossulocactus, and a Kalanchoe ("salade" to some).
Spring is here, and the plants know it. Today, highs near 27C/80F. A few thin clouds, but mostly blue sky. A day like that is as rare here as it is in Belgium.
Thank you for sharing, Pete. I don't understand, since I watered my cacti for the first time last sunday, and I have only small red points on my Rebutia, in lieu of flowers. My garage is not a greenhouse, anyway...
Hi Elisa. Rebutias have not started to bloom here either. All I have are small red buds too. This week will be good for them to start opening. We have had 2 days of full sun, and there is no rain until late next week. I should be out planting my garden. The farmers will be starting to plant corn (mais) this week, and I don't even have my potatoes in the ground.
