Identification of succulent plants: help needed please!
August 24, 2009 10:44PM
Hi there all!

Being a newcomer on this forum, I thought it first would be nice to give a quick presentation of myself...
My name is J. Crossley, and I live in France in Limoges where I teach English at University.
I started an interest in succulent plants about 10 years back, but moving around from country to country has caused me to leave many of myplants behind... sadly.
However, I have at last been able to start a new collection, although, as always, I am never sure of the exact names of the plants I have now at home...
I was thus hoping you could help me, with, I am quite sure -for you- some very simple identification!

Would this be a Pachyphytum?

What would this one be?

And this?

A couple of other pictures will be posted in the next message!!
A thousand thanks to anyone who could give me a hand!

Here are the odd other ones:

Any ideas?

I think this could be an echevaria, but which one?

Ahem... wild guess... sedum? (No idea...!)

Thanks !!

Jello J, and welcome on our forum sourire

Yes the first one seems to be Pachyphytum oviferum.

The third seems to be an Echeveria missing light dubitatif

Fifth could be Echeveria pulvinata.

Last one could be Sedum rubrotinctum, or more probably Sedum pachyphylum, but missing light.

Take care

4th can be Sedum nussbaumerianum but, like the others, it seems to be to far from sunlight ! More sun and the leaves will become brown...

Thanks all for your help, I have just purchase, actually, yesterday, all those plants, so they are indeed all looking a bit grim...!
They are getting "loads" of sunlight and hopefully they will be ok!!
Many thanks again!!
