The fan malfunctioned in the greenhouse and the temperature went below freezing. Some of the plants suffered damage, but the damage was not uniform. This photo is of
Epiphyllum oxypetalum behind a citrus. The center of the Epi shows freeze damage, while other parts of it are unaffected.
This shows how some of the blooms on the
Crassula ovata (Jade) froze (center of the Jade with blooms against the blue
Pilosocereus), and most of them did not.
This is a Jade that mostly froze, except for the side nearest the window.
This shows a begonia that froze one side, but the
Rhipsalis was unaffected.
